In this section you can find a list of all the beaches on the Madeira and Porto Santo Islands.

 

Calheta

Calheta has invested considerably in improving its natural resources and devised an artificial beach whose greatest attribute is based on the yellow sand, brought from Morocco and Figueira da Foz (Portugal), making it the first and only in the Madeira Island, and is undoubtedly a strong point of attraction.

The Paúl do Mar beach, also known as the Ribeira das Galinhas beach, is ideal for those seeking a quiet spot. With excellent conditions for sunbathing, this beach has the advantage of never being too full.
